Meet our Keynote

Jolene Streiff

Jolene Streiff, the inspiration behind Designing Life, LLC studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and began her career in apparel design working in New York City for fashion icon Mary McFadden.

Jolene’s cultivated eye and creative flair helped establish her as a clothing designer, textile designer, wardrobe stylist, and patternmaker in the couture and prêt-à-porter markets on 7th Avenue, in SoHo, and for Henri Bendel.

Eventually, she launched her own line of unique women’s accessories that were offered at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Talbots Kids, and East Coast boutiques.

As the accessory business thrived, so did Jolene's interest in other fashion-related industries. Melding the elements of design with her talents, keen eye, experience, and ability to connect with clients and industry professionals, she began to create and redesign interior spaces of private homes and commercial spaces.

Her transition to interior design took off and in 2013, Jolene founded her lifestyle company, Designing Life, LLC, whose mission it is to enhance the beauty in one’s life by incorporating the elements and principles of design in to four specific areas:   interior spaces, event planning, personal care, and major life-transitioning. Her clients span throughout the US and Canada.

Over the years, Jolene’s distinctive design projects have been featured in the New York Times Magazine, St. Louis Bridal Magazine, The Bergen Record and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch newspapers, St. Louis Bride and Groom Magazine, Nordstrom adsand Churchill Downs Kentucky Derby social circle.

Jolene lives in New York and is a wife and mother of eight grown children.
