Meet your Speaker, Libby O’Neill

Libby O’Neill

A Maryland native, Libby O’Neill grew up in Kensington and graduated from Oakcrest School in 2006. She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Dallas in 2010. From 2010-2013, Libby worked as Assistant Editor at startup literary press Atticus Books and as Managing Editor of the online journal Atticus Review. She has worked in various tutoring and freelance editing capacities since. She and her husband, a teacher at The Heights School, live with their six children in Damascus, Maryland where they keep a large garden, chickens, ducks, turkeys, pigs, sheep, and whatever else anybody brings home. Her musings on this are sometimes published online at Hearth and Field. Her school-age children currently attend The Heights and Brookewood School.
