The Perennial Bloomers Club: Uncover Your Greatness Even as a “Late Bloomer”

With Guest Speaker Barbara Pereira

Please join us on Thursday, September 28th from 11 - 12:30pm in Yuma Center’s Metzger Hall for our next seminar in the series for Women 60 & Beyond Followed by a light luncheon.

Our Guest speaker Barbara Pereira will help us discover how living for others transcends age in our pilgrimage of life, beginning with our spiritual inheritance in the Holy Land.  Did you know, for instance, that St. Helena was in her 70s when she first went on pilgrimage to the Holy Land at her son Constantine’s request?  It's never too late to bloom.  It’s always the right season.

Barbara Pereira, a dedicated professional with a rich background in the global financial sector, has devoted her life to not only fostering growth in international business, but also championing social change.  In her pursuit of fostering community and connectivity, Barbara is now focusing her energy on the CRETIO Foundation.  This non-profit aims to bridge young professionals worldwide with the deep-rooted history and opportunities nestled in the Holy Land.  Through CRETIO, Barbara facilitates immersive journeys and educational programs, encouraging personal growth and fostering a greater understanding of the region’s rich culture.  Now residing in Jupiter, Florida with her husband Alvaro, she enjoys a life filled with simple joys and frequent travels.

Luncheon Accompanied by Violinist Phoebe Leng
